Abstract

Objective: To analyze the occurrence of signs and symptoms of COVID-19 in patients hospitalized. Data sources: A systematic review was carried out. Information was collected from the PubMed BVSalud digital library databases, through descriptors (in English, Spanish, and Portuguese) such as SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19, neurological symptoms, hospitalization, and adults. The following filters were applied: articles published in the year 2021; descriptors presented only in the title or abstract; and Data synthesis: According to the articles studied, people were investigated for SARS-CoV-2 infection. There was a predominance of headache and myalgia (nonspecific symptoms). Through studies of recent conclusion, there is still a limited number of studies and information clarified about the clinical manifestations, including neurologic accomitment in patients diagnosed with COVID-19 hospitalized.
