Revisão integrativa condição oral e qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde bucal dos pacientes com indicação ao transplante de fígado: uma revisão integrativa

Objetivos: identificar as evidências disponíveis na literatura sobre a condição oral e a qualidade de vida relacionada à saúde bucal dos pacientes com indicação ao transplante de fígado. Métodos: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Foram realizadas buscas através dos descritores e operadores boleanos AND e OR, na base de dados do PUBMED E da BVS (Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde), nos idiomas inglês, espanhol e português. Resultados: dos 191 artigos encontrados no PUBMED e 157 na BVS, 19 foram selecionados para construção da revisão. Destes, 12 tiveram delineamento transversal, 4 foram longuitudinais, 2 retrospectivos e 1 estudo piloto. Os artigos demonstraram que a higiene oral se encontrava comprometida, o índice CPO-D médio foi elevado e houve maior prevalência, extensão e severidade de periodontites. A existência de problemas bucais esteve relacionada a dor e desconforto, comprometimento psicológico, da aparência e da estética e dessa forma influenciou a qualidade de vida. Conclusão: a maioria dos artigos revelou que a saúde bucal do cirrótico em fila de transplante não é satisfatória e que há comprometimento da OHRQol. Recomendam a colaboração interprofissional como rotina pré-operatória para melhorar saúde bucal e a OHRQol de candidatos a transplante de fígado.
